Contrasting weather day started with a very chilly ride to the station early this morning followed by an even colder, one might say Baltic, ride along the banks of the River Tyne to the Newcastle office. By the time I got back to Otley it was snowing and noticeably warmer, though still sub-zero!
With snow lying on the ground I decided that the scheduled speed work was probably not the best idea, so instead enjoyed a steady, and snow deadened, five mile Tour d'Otley. Appropriate really given that we learnt today that the Tour de France will be visiting Otley in 2014!!
Five more miles takes the tally to 666.....oops, didn't see that coming!
