Another humid day for running meant I was already 'drippin' by the time I got to the start line. James and Joel from Leeds parkrun were both there today, so I knew winning was probably off the cards! As it turned out I think it was a Valley Striders clean sweep, Joel winning, James third just pipping me to the post. I so nearly caught him......
So, fourth place and a time of about 20 minutes dead which is half a minute faster than my only other time on the 'new' course.
Six more miles, 1,996 now run. Will hit the two thousand mark on Tuesday.........
