On Sunday 7 October I will be running in the inaugural Royal Parks Ultra, a 50 km (31 mile) race from Hyde Park in central London to Bushy Park in the south west.
The race is being run to help raise funds for SCOPE - the disability charity that helps to improve daily lives for people living with disabilities - and the Royal Parks Foundation -who manage London's suite of Royal Parks, the real green lungs of the city and home to so much Olympic success this summer. Bushy Park, at the end of the race, is also the home of parkrun.
